Josh Clark is a native Georgian, born in Atlanta and raised in Suwanee. He has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Chelsey, for close to eight years. They reside in Buford, GA with their 4 children, Stephen, Moriah, Brianna and expecting their 4th child in December.
He credits his success as a small business owner to the work ethic he acquired growing up on a small farm with 10 siblings. As the oldest Josh learned in his teen years what it meant to serve others and help with the family business. Over the years Josh has started several successful businesses. Today he owns a nutraceutical distribution company and a real estate investment and management company.
The time flexibility he has acquired from his business has allowed Josh to be involved with his community including coaching cross country, serving on the executive committee for the 7th District Republican Party and volunteering to help get conservatives elected to office. He currently serves on the executive board for Berea School of Ministry a non-denominational bible school at Mt. Paran Church of God, coaches his son’s baseball team and is actively involved at First Baptist Church of Sugar Hill.
For Josh serving in the State House is just a natural progression of his desire to make a difference. “I believe instead of just worrying about our problems we need real everyday people to get involved and serve their community rather than their own egos, ambitions and special interests.”
He believes we need fresh solutions, new energy and conservative values to insure that this state continues in the right direction. “I won’t make promises to you that I can’t keep but you can be assured that I will listen to you, fight for you and always remember that I am your servant”.
