Thank you for the victory!

Posted Saturday, July 24, 2010

Dear Friends,

I am excited and humbled to announce that the people of District 98 voted this past Tuesday to elect me as their next State Representative! There is not a Democrat challenger in November, so I am now your representative elect! I look forward to the privilege of serving you and fighting for our conservative principles.

Each of you who helped make this victory a reality, whether knocking on doors, sacrificing financially, talking to friends, writing a note, hosting a meet and greet, or putting up a sign, has my deepest heartfelt appreciation. With your help our grassroots team knocked on over 10,000 doors, called nearly that many, put out 1800 yard signs and attended events all over the district during the past eleven months. Words cannot begin to describe my gratitude for your tremendous labor of love. Your hard work and determination paid off tremendously. We tallied 69.8% of the vote and won each of the 16 precincts. Furthermore, we helped engage and turn out nearly 3,000 more voters than in past primaries!

Since election day a few volunteers and myself have been driving our district doing our best to clean up our yard signs. If we missed yours, I apologize. Would you consider helping me by pulling it up and dropping it off at one of the drop-off locations down below. We want to be responsible by cleaning up our signs and fiscally conservative with our campaign budget by reusing as many signs as possible in future re-election campaigns. If we missed a large sign please don’t hesitate to call me and I will gladly come take it down.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as I go to the capitol to fight for the conservative issues that are important to us all.

Thank you,

Josh

Most thankful and proud of the endorsements from the families of district 98.

Friday Josh Clark received the endorsement of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Georgia:

“The Caucus is pleased to have many pro-liberty candidates running for the state legislature. State government affects Georgians in every day life, and we need legislators who will uphold the principles of limited government, free markets, and personal liberty when considering legislation,” said Caucus Chairman Tyler Burgess.

In addition Josh received the following statement from the Georgia Tea Party Patriots after signing their Legislative Pledge.

“We applaud Josh Clark for signing the Georgia Tea Party Patriots pledge for Georgia State Legislators . This shows his commitment of the tea party principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility.” Co-coordinator of Georgia Tea Party Patriots and Co founder of Atlanta Tea Party, Debbie Dooley.

Last week, Josh was endorsed by the National Rifle Association and GeorgiaCarry.org, two leading Second Amendment groups.

Josh Clark has this to say after receiving Friday’s endorsements:

“I greatly appreciate the endorsements I have received from conservative organizations and other elected officials. However, I am most proud of the endorsement of more than 1,700 families who have shown their public support for me by placing a yard sign in their yard. In my opinion the endorsements from the hard working citizens of this district who have pledged me their vote and support are the ones that matter most. When elected I will never forget that I am a servant of the people and not other elected officials or special interests.”

Please make sure that your friends and family vote in the Republican Primary this Tuesday, July 20th. Please text, email, call, Tweet, Facebook and talk to everyone you know and everyone you see. Please tell them why you support Josh Clark.

After you vote for Josh on Tuesday come join us at our campaign headquarters in Suwanee for an election night celebration. For details and to RSVP click here.
