Urgent Help Needed

Posted Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Wow, I can hardly believe we are only 21 days from the finish line. With your help I look forward to the honor and privilege of serving this great state and tackling the issues that threaten not only us, but more importantly our children and grandchildren’s future. I will work to bring jobs to north Gwinnett, fight illegal immigration (costing this state $1.6 billion), work for a Fair Tax for Georgia, and fight for comprehensive auditing of departments and agencies to eliminate fraud and waste. I will tackle these issues relentlessly with the same energy I have shown knocking on doors and listening to voters across this entire district over the past 11 months. For more in depth info visit www.votejoshclark.com.

We are thankful for our current standing in this race but need your help to continue getting our message out over the next 21 days. My opponent is formidable. He’s been in politics for decades and is well connected with the “good ol’boy” network. If you believe we need a new, bold, conservative voice fighting for us than I need your help in a couple of ways.

1. Vote! Vote Now and take a friend with you. For early voting locations go to www.votejoshclark.com and click on “voting”.

2. Contribute! I know it’s such a sacrifice for you and it’s hard for me to ask, but would you please consider making your best contribution right now before the close of the month Wednesday at 12 midnight. I realize that many of you have already given once, twice or more. I can’t thank you enough for standing with us in this cause. We’re stretching every penny but need your help to cover mailings, advertisement, food for volunteers, signs, t-shirts and literature. Remember, any amount helps us whether $2400, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, $25 or even $10. Please consider making your best contribution right now at www.votejoshclark.com

3. Make phone calls! You can join us for phone baking at our headquarters or we can send you a list to make calls from home.

4. Walk your neighborhood! You can either join our team as we knock on doors of Republican voters and hand them a brochure or we can give you a list so you can walk your neighborhood when it fits your schedule.

To volunteer email buzz@votejoshclark.com or call 678.895.9064

Please don’t forget to keep us in your prayers. Please pray for wisdom in these final days and pray for safety and blessings for our many volunteers.

Josh

A Personal Note From Chelsey Clark

Posted Monday, June 14, 2010

Thanks for supporting my husband’s campaign for State House. I have a quick favor to ask of you. Today Josh turns 31!! In support of his efforts to serve the people of Georgia would you consider making a contribution of $31, $131, $331 or more?

I’ve known Josh since he was 5 years old….in fact I proposed to him when he was 8 years old! I joke that he finally came around to saying yes 13 years later!! Anyway, one of the many things I’ve always respected about him is his heart to serve others. I know he will be a bold, passionate and conservative new voice for the people of Georgia.

As I’ve been campaigning with my husband over the past 10 months I have been encouraged seeing that with God’s blessing and each of us working together we can make a difference towards advancing freedom and prosperity for our children. We are in the final stretch with only 36 days left. Your contribution will help us cover mailings, advertisement, food for volunteers, signs, t-shirts and literature. Remember, any amount greatly helps. Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless!

Sincerely,
Chelsey Clark

Personal message from Josh Clark

Posted Thursday, June 10, 2010

Thanks to all of you who have helped and supported our campaign over the past ten months. It’s hard to believe only 40 days remain. Due to your support we have come such a long way. In the beginning we had very little name recognition in a 4-way race; now it’s a 2-way race with the deciding election July 20th.

With your help I look forward to not just representing but fighting for our conservative principles. This is not the time for relaxing or playing good ol’ boy politics. Our children’s very future hangs in the balance. You can be confident that with God’s help I will fight for our children’s freedom and prosperity.

With only a little over 5 weeks to go we need your help to continue implementing our winning strategy in these final days. Will you please consider walking door to door with us, even if it’s only one day or even a few hours? Perhaps you’d be willing to walk your neighborhood. The response is almost always very positive as we only target Republican voters. We simply hand them a brochure and ask them to vote for Josh Clark. If they have questions simply give them my cell number and tell them that I would love to talk with them personally. We walk almost every day now. Please volunteer now by contacting David Clark 678-622-3810 or Josh Clark 404-723-8989.

Yard Signs & Car Window Sticker – Will you help us spread the word through yard signs and window stickers? Call Scott & Christie Pearson 678-482-7447 for a yard sign and window sticker for yourself and your neighbors.

Would you consider making another contribution to help us through these final 5 weeks? We need help now more than ever as I’m focused on talking to voters in the final weeks rather than raising funds.

Thank you for joining me in fighting for freedom and prosperity for our children’s future!

Josh

Urgent Action Needed

Posted Monday, June 7, 2010

We need your help.

We’ve have heard unconfirmed word this afternoon that Governor Sonny Perdue plans to veto SB 1, Senator David Shafer’s Zero Based Budgeting Act. This legislation will force every state department and agency to be audited and justified starting from a zero based sum rather than only justifying increases from the previous year. As we are forced to cut the budget further it is imperative that we implement zero based budgeting so we can cut to the chase and identify fraud and waste rather than cutting critical services such as education, resulting in teacher layoffs.

Please call Governor Sonny Perdue’s office at 404-656-1776 and urge that he sign the bill before midnight on Tuesday. Thank you for doing your part to help identify and eliminate wasteful spending by urging him to sign SB 1.

Thank you,
Josh
